Passenger numbers continued to recover at the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport (BTR) in 2021 as 562,834 people flew into and out of the airport. This was a 55% increase from 2020 of nearly 200,000 passengers. Passenger volume at the Baton Rouge Metro Airport (BTR) was up 91% in September 2021 over the same month last year.BTR total passenger numbers were 59,798 in September, reaching 90% of the September 2019 numbers.
