Baton Rouge, LA - Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport (BTR) in collaboration with The SJB Group and The W Consulting Group is pleased to announce the 19th Annual Business Opportunities Workshop set for October 3rd, 2024. This event will take place from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Raising Cane's River Center, with registration and breakfast starting at 7:30 AM.

This in-person event is designed for DBE’s/ACDBE’s, entrepreneurs, small business owners, and industry professionals eager to expand their business capacity, particularly in the aviation industry. Whether you're looking to explore collaborations, gain insights, or discover new opportunities, this workshop is a must-attend event.

This impactful workshop will offer a unique opportunity to connect with DBEs, vendors, and industry leaders. Participants will benefit from hands-on business development assistance and direct access to key stakeholders.

The sessions will feature three dynamic panel discussions with presentations on business development strategies and opportunities by DOTD, SBA, LED, City of Baton Rouge, Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA), SU Small Business Development Center, BR Airport, and the BR Area Chamber.

Attendees will also benefit from the insight of FAA – Office of Civil Rights and EEO Compliance Specialist DBE/ACDBE, Mr. Shaun Bouy, as well as our local DBE success story, Mr. Craig Stevens, Founder & President of Genesis 360, who will both share expertise and strategies for thriving in the current business landscape.
